Vogalonga 2024

On Sunday 19 May 2024, the 48th edition of the Vogalonga will be held, the famous non-competitive rowing race in which rowers from all over the world gather to row a 30-km-long route between the lagoon and its Grand Canal and celebrate the tradition of Venice.

BIENNALE ARTE 2024

From 20 April to 24 November 2024, the 60th International Art Exhibition entitled “Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere” produced by La Biennale di Venezia will be open to the public at the Giardini and the Arsenale. The title of the exhibition comes from a series of works created by the Claire Fontaine collective, whose works consist of neon sculptures in various colours bearing the words ‘Foreigners Everywhere’ in different languages.

Exhibition “Affinità elettive. Picasso, Matisse, Klee e Giacometti”
From 24 March to 23 June 2024, an exhibition entitled ‘Elective Affinities’ will be staged at the Gallerie dell’Accademia and the Casa dei Tri Oci. For the first time in Italy, more than 40 masterpieces by internationally renowned artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Klee, Giacometti and Cézanne will be on display.

Exhibition “THE WORLDS OF MARCO POLO. THE JOURNEY OF A 13TH-CENTURY VENETIAN MERCHANT”
From 6 April to 29 September 2024 the exhibition dedicated to the Journey of Marco Polo, the Venetian citizen who made the Orient more accessible and less unknown. The exhibition at the Doge’s Palace is a tribute to the man on the 700th anniversary of his death.

Exhibition “Armando Testa”
From 20 April to 15 September, Ca’ Pesaro is hosting an exhibition dedicated to Armando Testa, the brilliant advertising genius from Turin famous for his unconventional inventions. 17 works celebrate his artistic career and impact on contemporary visual culture.
